How to Tune in LIVE and Participate

Hello CTS Podcast Listeners,

You can join us LIVE for our broadcasts on Ustream and participate with us and our listeners in the chat room. Look near the top of this side-bar to the right to see when our next show is scheduled.

If you're unfamiliar with how to use Ustream, we've included some simple instructions below. (It's FREE.)

HOW TO JOIN US FOR OUR LIVE PODCASTS:

I. How to Sign Up for a Free Ustream Account

1.) Go to this link: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/considering-the-sequels-podcast

2.) At the top-right of this page, click on “Sign Up.”

3.) Fill out the information. It’s FREE and simple, like getting a new e-mail account. Note: The “Username” you choose is how you’ll be identified in the chat room.

4.) That’s how you sign up. You’ll need your username and password any time you’d like to log in.

II. How to Log-In for a Show (in the Future), Once You Already Have Your Ustream Account

1.) Go here: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/considering-the-sequels-podcast

2.) At the top-right, you click “Login” and enter your username and password.

3.) We strongly recommend wearing headphones to listen to the podcast. You'll be able to hear much better. Make sure your computer volume is up — and this next part is very important: Look below the bottom-right corner of the big black box where our logo is displayed. The second symbol over from the right is the volume button. Slide this button up to increase our volume. Between this volume, your computer’s volume and the headphones, you’ll be able to hear us just fine.

III. Using the Chat

1.) Once you’re logged in, directly below the log-in area, you’ll see the chat room box. Beneath the chat and to the right (directly above the blue SEND button), there’s a little silhouette of a person. Click on that person so you can view the Broadcaster (ConsiderSequels, aka Jason) and the names of the viewers in the chat room. You should see your username listed among them.

2.) In order to chat, simply type your comments in the field to the left of the blue SEND button, and you can either hit “send” or the “enter” key to post your comment in the chat room.
